Path of Exile 3.27: Keepers of the Flame and the New Quality of Life Upgrades
Discover all Path of Exile 3.27: Keepers of the Flame quality of life updates and prepare for launch with Path of Trade’s fast Divine Orb and farming services.
The upcoming Path of Exile expansion, Keepers of the Flame, launches on October 31st and is already igniting excitement across the community. In the days leading up to release, Grinding Gear Games has been dropping short clips showcasing the quality of life improvements coming with 3.27 — and each one reinforces how the game keeps evolving without losing its hardcore roots.
One of the first revealed changes focuses on summoners. Spectres will now remain bound to you even after they die. When entering a new area, they automatically return to their spectral form without the need for manual resummoning. This also applies to itemized corpse spectres, meaning no more constant re-purchases. Once you’ve befriended a spectre, that bond lasts forever — unless you decide to replace it.
Another welcome update is the new mass identification system. Previously tied to Helena and dependent on Scrolls of Wisdom, identification can now be done with any NPC in towns from the end of Act 1 onward — completely free of charge. A massive relief for anyone who spends long stretches of time sorting drops and preparing gear for endgame progression.
Farming enthusiasts will also appreciate the overhaul to stacked decks. You can now hold Ctrl and right-click a stack to open all of them directly into your inventory, with the result displayed in chat. For those who crave that sweet loot filter dopamine, holding Shift will open them onto the ground instead — a satisfying rain of cards for collectors and gamblers alike.
Heist, one of the game’s more divisive mechanics, is also getting a well-deserved update. In 3.27, all rogues will start at maximum level, removing the tedious early grind of leveling them from scratch. This lets exiles jump straight into the lucrative side of criminal life without all the busywork.
Another major highlight is full passive tree refunds. Simply talk to Kirac to respec your Atlas tree using gold, and the same option is now available for your regular passive tree through Faustus. This change makes it easier than ever to experiment with new builds and strategies without regret.
To wrap it all up, GGG confirmed that the official Keepers of the Flame reveal livestream will air on October 23rd at 12 PM PDT on the official Path of Exile Twitch channel. Viewers who tune in will also receive an exclusive Hiveborn Crawler pet via Twitch Drops.
With so many great quality-of-life updates and a new league just around the corner, this is the perfect time to prepare your character and stock up on resources. At Path of Trade, you’ll find the best deals to buy Divine Orbs, along with safe and fast farming and trade services to start the new season strong. The flame is burning bright — are you ready to wield it?
