Description
Elder's Exalted Orb applies Elder influence to a rare item and adds a new Elder modifier in the process. The influence is what makes those modifiers reachable at all, so the orb opens the pool and spends an affix slot in one action.
Right click the orb and then left click a high-level rare with no influence on it. Items that already carry an influence cannot be used, and the six-modifier limit for rares still holds.
The orb drops from Elder and Uber Elder, in both their regular and Uber variants, which ties its supply directly to how often those bosses are being run.
